Mens Doubles Winter Season North County Doubles Tennis League
It's Time to Sign Up
History: TCV has been actively participating in this league for several years. We normally play other clubs in the North County area so travel is required.
Time of Play: League begins approximately
the 1st week of February and ends sometime in April depending on the number of teams entered.
Sunday mornings 9:00AM12:30PM
Level of Play: We are trying to have A, BB, B and CC teams if we get enough players. The levels roughly equate to A = 4.5; BB = 4.0; B = 3.5; CC = 3.0
We will require 12 players per team and as many subs as we can get. The 12 players will be considered the full time members of the teams. Subs will be used only when somebody cannot make a match. Players will be assigned to a team based on the new RPTC guidelines for fielding teams which will be similar to what we have done for fielding our USTA teams.

FYI: NCDL has moved to an open format for weekly line-ups, which means they no longer require teams to designate six players who only play in the top three positions. The new format allows captains to place all players at any position in the line-up each week. If you are familiar with the history here this means we can set up the teams in the same manner we have been recently with our USTA teams and will not be utilizing the ladder.

We have 2 on-going open
play sessions for adult men doubles players BB-A:
Saturday & Sunday Mornings 8:30am to 10:30am
Open play rules: The rules are meant to help create a playing environment that will satisfy the majority of the players who like to play Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings. They hopefully will help us to continue an atmosphere of play at TCV as one that offers a mix of recreational and competitive play for all.
